Optoelectronics and display LED module coating: conductive silver adhesive case study

Background

An equipment integrator / manufacturer in Optoelectronics and display needed to coating on a LED module using conductive silver adhesive.

Process challenge

High fluid viscosity and resistance causing pneumatic extrusion to lose speed.

Solution

We recommended Dispensing Valve + Glue Distributing Machine, with adding regulated supply with a drum pump for continuous feed to suppress pressure ripple.

Result

  • Material utilisation improved by about 8% with visibly less waste.
  • Shot volume 0.4 mL with deviation within ±2%.
  • Cycle time 1.1 s per dot with no stringing or dripping during continuous running.

Project facts

  • Industry: Optoelectronics and display
  • Workpiece: LED module
  • Fluid: conductive silver adhesive
  • Process: coating
  • Recommended lines: Dispensing Valve, Glue Distributing Machine
