Background

An equipment integrator / manufacturer in Optoelectronics and display needed to dispensing on a LED module using filled thermal gel.

Process challenge

High fluid viscosity and resistance causing pneumatic extrusion to lose speed.

Solution

We recommended Dispensing Valve + Glue Distributing Machine, with using a high-flow pneumatic valve for staged potting together with vacuum de-airing.

Result

Volume repeatability improved from ±5% to within ±2%.
Shot volume 0.008 mL with deviation within ±2%.
Cycle time 0.8 s per dot with no stringing or dripping during continuous running.
