Many on-site problems are not valve failures but mismatched viscosity assumptions.
Mistake one: looking only at room-temperature viscosity. Fluids change significantly with temperature — a winter workshop and a summer workshop can differ by an order of magnitude. Heating or temperature control may be required.
Mistake two: ignoring fillers and particles. Filled fluids are sensitive to clearance fit; state the particle size distribution so the valve does not wear out early or clog.
Mistake three: ignoring hose length. Longer and narrower lines mean more pressure loss, making the match between the supply system and the valve even more important.
Providing all three points together lets us align the valve and the supply solution in one pass.
