A screw valve is a positive-displacement metering device: fluid is pushed by closed cavities between rotor and stator, so volume is close to linear in rotation.

The video breaks down three things: (1) how rotor/stator fit sets the smallest stable volume, (2) how sealing-face wear shifts volume, (3) why filled fluids need a harder stator.
